A picture says how many words? April 12, 2008

They say a picture says a thousand words. Well, I don’t know if that’s true or not, but a good photographer can capture things that can’t be expressed in words.

We had a friend from work come over today to take some pictures of the girls. Morgan Turner is a professional photographer, moonlighting as an electrician. And you can certainly tell when you see these.

Morgan was awesome enough to give me digital copies of these images, something lots of professional photographers have a hard time with, because in theory we could go an order these from Wal-Mart or something. (Just a note, Morgan Turner does still hold the copyright on all these images, he’s just given me permission to use them here - yes, you can have copyright on an image of something you don’t own, you own the rights to the actual image.)

However, any printing we need of these we’ll go back to him - simply because of the awesome job he did for us, and his trust in giving us these digitally for our digital photo frame we got for a baby shower gift (Thank you Tom and Hilma!) and so I could use them here.

So, in no particular order, here you go. If anyone wants prints of these, give us a call and we can have Morgan whip something up for you.
