New Daycare October 15, 2007

Ivy has a new daycare.  Amanda has had some health problems and scares with her pregnancy, so she isn’t able to do it anymore.  This makes us sad.

Our new daycare however makes us happy.  It’s a real structured one, cause we felt we couldn’t get lucky with good in-home liscenced daycare options again.

We have to  pack lunch for her now, and it requires a little more effort on our part, but the people running this place seem pretty awesome.  They’ll work with our schedule as much as possible, and if we start something like potty training (which we’re in the very beginnings of) they’ll work with us to make it good.

More to come as we use it a little more and find out what we like/dislike about it.

I’ve kept you waiting long enough… October 15, 2007

Ok…I’ve kept it quiet on here long enough.

(Actually, I forgot I promised more news.)

But here it is.  The other day I got a letter from the British Columbia Court Registry.  Yup.  It’s here.

I am divorced. (or, I’m mostly divorced…it’s all signed but doesn’t take effect until 31 days after the judge signs it, so on the 25th it will be official)

This means I can go and beggar myself by purchasing a ridiculously priced engagement ring or something.

Actually  - Sami threatened to rip off my testes if I spend as much on one for her as Jeremy did for Tasha…Congratulations Guys!  Both Sawatzky twins either engaged or married….nifty.  But I digress.

Sam wants me to propose with a  cheap ring and running boards for her truck.  How did I get such an awesome woman.
